Given what The Road to Freedom represents as a means to broadly inform the world about Scientology, it had always been Ron’s intention that the album be translated into as many languages as possible. To make that intention a reality, vocalists from around the world were flown to the L. Ron Hubbard Music Studio to record Ron’s translated lyrics. Lending a hand were many of the original Road to Freedom artists, including John Travolta, performing in Spanish, German and Italian, and both Julia Migenes and David Pomeranz performing in several languages. In all, seven foreign languages were recorded: French, German, Italian, Spanish, Swedish, Danish and Japanese. Moreover, these recordings, along with the English version, were remixed and digitally mastered for compact disc. Given advances in sound technology over the last decade, as well as upgraded mixing facilities at Ron’s studio, this newly mixed The Road to Freedom, release that far surpasses even the original.
